The Dry Kilns
We prepare the 2x4 & 2x6 lumber for drying by stacking it in units, placing the units on carts, and rolling the carts into the kilns.
Drying time depends on the moisture content and the species of lumber we're running.
Sawdust is a natural by-product of the milling process. We built our own dryer that works in unison with our kiln boiler.
This dried sawdust provides the raw material to CNZ Wood Pellet Manufacturing here in Sheridan WY.
